What are the signs I have a water line leak?

The most common signs of a water line leak are unexplained spikes in your water bill, wet or soft spots in your yard when it hasn't rained, low water pressure throughout the house, and the sound of running water when everything is turned off.

If you notice your meter moving when no water is in use, that's a strong indicator. Water line leaks don't fix themselves — the longer they run, the more damage they do to your foundation and yard.
